EMERGENCY SUPPORT SESSIONS

Our Urgent Relationship Support Sessions are designed for clients who need prompt, contained therapeutic intervention, outside regular booking schedules.

Who This Service Is For;

This option is suitable for individuals or couples who:

– Have experienced a recent crisis (e.g. infidelity disclosure, major conflict, emotional breakdown)

– Feel emotionally overwhelmed and unable to wait for a standard appointment

– Need immediate professional containment and guidance

– Are at risk of making reactive or irreversible decisions

– Require support to stabilise before ongoing therapy begins

Boundaries of the Service

To protect both clients and the therapeutic process:

– This service is not available on demand outside stated days

– It does not replace emergency mental health services

– Follow-up contact outside sessions is not included

– Repeat urgent sessions may be limited to prevent dependency

Attention: Some notes for you when booking an appointment.

Our Cancellations/No-Refund Policy

As common with most professional services, our practitioners are self-employed and therefore need to manage their diaries and travel time to destinations within Nigeria and outside efficiently. We therefore operate a strict no-cancellation/no-refund policy requiring all clients to give us a minimum of two business days’ (48 hours) notice of any cancelled session. The received session fees cannot be refunded but can be used at another time or given to someone else to use within 2 months. Session fees not utilized within 2 months will be forfeited.

  • If rescheduling or arriving late for your appointment, kindly call us at least 2 hours before.
  • If asking the therapist to work more than the specified time in-session, (Timeline is calculated specifically: After 10 minutes, you will be charged 100% of the fee of a consultation session)
  • All consultations outside office hours, MUST be held in either a location selected by us or certified as professional and safe for/by the therapist.
Consultation Fee Exemption / Reduction Policy

TCMA has a policy of exemption and reduction of consultation fees for the following cases:

  • In case the customer has committed to continue with the therapy process continuously for more than 3 months, the consultation fee is reduced by 10%.
  • If client have special financial difficulties. In each specific case, we will consult with a psychological consultant and based on the company's regulations to give the most reasonable consultation fee.
